General policies

  • Hair for reinstall appointments must be in good condition with no lace damage or bald spots.
  • Clients may send a clear photo of their hair via direct message before booking.
  • Lace must be clean for reinstall services. Lace cleaning is available at an additional fee.
  • No plus-ones are allowed unless discussed and approved in advance.
  • Late arrivals will be charged a late fee of R100 per 15 minutes
  • Late arrivals beyond 40 minutes will result in a cancelled booking.

Bookings & payment

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure all appointments.

  • The remaining balance must be paid on the day of your appointment.

  • Cash and card payments are accepted.

  • Hair requiring customisation must be dropped off a week before the appointment.

  • Clients must arrive with their natural hair prepared in flat cornrows.

emergency appointments

  • Emergency appointments are charged an additional fee of R200

  • Any appointment booked within 24 hours of the service date is considered an emergency booking.

  • Emergency appointments are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

PRE-STYLING

  • KIMU & CO. does not sell or supply hair. Clients must provide their own wig.
  • Wigs requiring customisation must be dropped off at least one week before the appointment.
  • Pre-styling is done on the client’s head to ensure proper fit and finish, once completed, the wig will be packaged and ready for you to take home.
  • Wigs are not pre-styled and sent out. Client presence is required.
